We WILL be testing everyone prior to entering the retreat site or the hospitality suite / bus at LAX. Those who test positive will not be allowed to continue on into the retreat. We will not be able to offer refunds at that late date, but we will offer a credit toward next year's retreat. Please read our entire COVID Guidelines for a thorough understanding of our protocols, tips and where to get free COVID tests.
And bring a mask... Masks are encouraged!

The Weather
It seems that the universe is smiling on us for the retreat weekend. This is the forecast as of October 2nd.
Bedding
The site provides:
- A fitted sheet
- A top sheet
- A blanket
- Two Towels and a Washcloth
- A Pillowcase and a Pillow.
The Lodges have heat and air conditioning, so pack accordingly based how you like to sleep!
BLU Is a Scent Free Zone
The BLU Retreat encourages a fragrance-free environment as we have participants who experience unpleasant, and often serious physical effects from scented products, such as perfumes, scented oils, and colognes. As such, feel free to pack your favorite fragrance-free products and leave your scented ones at home. We will have some unscented soaps
The BLU Retreat is a substance-free event.
Alcohol, and non-prescription drugs, including Marijuana, are strictly prohibited, and not permitted on the retreat premises. We require this to keep you safe and to maintain a safe environment for all in attendance.

What to Pack!
- We are having our infamous White Party… you can dress to impress, or dress to be comfortable… but if you can… dress in white!
- We are having our even more infamous Pool Party… Bring your towel, your suit, shorts and a T… or whatever you’re comfortable in.
- What to wear for the rest of the time? Bring your play clothes! We're here to have fun. The weather will be in the low 80’s during the day, to the mid 50’s at night.
- A light blanket or jacket for our late-night outdoor events
- A Flashlight… Yes, you all have one on your phone, but an actual flashlight may be helpful.
- Bring your drum, because we will be drumming! If you don’t have one, we have some to share.
- Bring $$ or other forms of payment for our vendors!
- An extension cord or power strip if you have things to plug in (like a CPAP)
- Sun Block (even the melanated need protection
- Ear Plugs, especially if you are a light sleeper.
- Bring your supports! If your joints need extra TLC, bring your knee, ankle, wrist supports!
- Bring your scent free products!
